COVID-19 Maßnahmen

We are delighted to be able to welcome you again and give you a last chance to enjoy the Castle while everything – for just a moment longer - is exactly as it was. The castle will be closing its doors at the end of August for a major restoration campagn and will not open again until 2023. Your visit will be a little different than it would under normal circumstances, due to the modifications necessary to guarantee your safety. Below we list the precautionary measures we are taking to allow your visit to take place as safely as possible, as well as tips on how you can best prepare for your visit.

When can I visit the Castle and the Museumgarden?

The Castle will be open from 20 May to 30 August, on condition that there is no tightening of the measures. The Museumgarden is open from 20 May to 31 October. Under the current circumstances, the castle and the Museumgarden will stay closed on Monday and Tuesday. The park is open daily from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.

The new opening times of the Castle and the Museumgarden are:

Monday Closed
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday - Sunday: Open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. (last admission at 4.40 pm.)
Open on Public Holidays, also when these are on a Monday or Tuesday.

These opening times will apply for the rest of the season (until 30/08/2020).

Do I have to make a reservation to visit the castle and the Museumgarden?
